That makes perfect sense, and not far off from how I understand it. In regards to the RPM comment of mine, I was more referring to vacuum from a decelleration stand point. My studies have indicated that you'll see your highest vacuum reading during decelleration (High RPM, closed throttle blades) I also believe the my class is "dumbing it down" some, as it is an intro course and designed for people with no background in vacuum theory.
As a side not, 5-90s reply didn't make my eye's rattle a bit, I just replied to his post via a PM so as to not hijack the thread
I do appreciate the alternate explaination very much between you and 5-90 most of my confusion has been alleved!
