Big Red's JV Run

Oh Oh Oh, let me play too. Sorry had to do it. Disregard now, I have to go to my second job for my wife . . . . not to buy her, but to keep her happy

Hey Dan, get your own material. Remember sackriding is not a sport.

Edit: OH crap, I think I was stealing Jes' material.... :gag:

I'm surprised that none of the Sierra chapter guys told you that you can't run JV with the rare full width camper HP44 with leafspring pads alxe. The problem is that it won't fit between those two big rocks. I watched a guy attempt it a couple of weeks ago, he got scratches all over the axle tubes & almost rolled.

Paul

Paul your right. I forgot full width axles arn't J.V. approved. Sorry Big Red.
Your rig doesn't meet the min requirements for a naxja run in J.V.

Maybe some mud runs.

Bowing respectively and shuffling backwards.

On another note, let me ride shot gun on the JV run Troy.

That works for me. We'll run the JV trails together and whoever wants to go. Approved or not Approved I think my rig can do it.

BR wants to go to JV. Post here. But he can't go for a month cause his rigs going to be saweeeet! Then he's going to San Diego, then he wants to do TDS, and Malakoff Diggins before the snow melts, but he really wants to do the hardcore trails since he's spent so much getting setup.

I have a busy schedule. :laugh3: Whoever wants to go to JV then just go, don't tell me I can make it or not make it. All these restrictions etc are b.s., I know I can make it with my rig and will. I'm going be running 3-4" b.s. on my 8" beadlock rims so that should alleviate most of my wider than stock width and the little I gain with help my jeeps stability. We will not really know until I run JV trails so who wants to go???

All I was trying to do is get a run going, but many or U guys just want to be like children and argue.

Jason: What happened to your "sweet" mod list in your signature??? :laugh3:

Then screw that b.s. NAXJA run. There are plenty of other hardcore Toyotas, Jeeps, etc that do these trails full width with 60/14 bolt combos etc. I will run these trails 1 way another, with or without NAXJA.

did he finally get it?

We'll have to see. :laugh3: Maybe JV is a little over the top for most of U guys. I think I will check out JV with bigger mixed groups of vehicles and the local stuff with U guys.

I said I'd go in JULY... :twak:

Sounds good. I'd like to join U and others then.

All I was trying to do is getting a JV run going, now wasn't that easy? :laugh3:

Great, so 4 pages later and BR is going to JV in July. Excellent work. Perhaps once you nail down a date we can plan the Swamp run accordingly.

I would like to thank Andy for stepping up to the plate and taking one for the team.
It looks like a win win for almost everybody. Big Red gets his J.V. cheery popped, and the Swamp run is saved.

Your a better man than I Porch Puppy
You will be missed on the swamp run.
