Ok, got 5.5" RE front springs, with ACOS. Got rear 6" Big Offroad Leaves.

I need new shackles to go with those leaves right? But I don't really want any more lift from them.

What shackles would you run, and why?

You gotta run longer shackles or you will have no flex with those leaf springs. Your minimum is RE 1.25 shackles with the half moon cutout to allow more travel to the rear (I need to enlarge this cutout just a bit). This will give you 8" of total lift unless you have massive weight on the back of your XJ (I run this setup). 1.5" lift shackles will be better, but I just didn't need any more lift. If you really only want 6" of lift...you need the 4" BOR springs with 1.5" shackle.

Another option is to relocate the shackle box and run MJ shackles at 30 degree or so angle to the rear. Crash could give you those specs.

1.75" daystar shackles, work awesome.

are they good for compression though?

ya both those shackles should net you some lift. revolvers do not give lift over stock

Now, looking back at previous posts.. people are mentioning using Chevy 2" drop shackles. Those are supposed to "drop" or Lower a Chevy right? So if I use regular Chevy Shackles.. will those work with the BO springs, and lift the cherokee less? Again, not wanting a lot of lift from the shackles, just need them to work with the BO Springs.
