this is the soundest advice given in the thread thus far. the thing i'll miss the most when i move out of NY is the pizza and bagels... one day i'll have my own pizzeria/restaurant AND a bagel joint/deli somewhere west of the mississippi and retire off of my profits. idk how the hell you guys survive without delis.

I live in Central IN. 4 wheeling parks within 2 hours of me and Harlan is 5 hours. Best wheeling east of the mississippi that I have done. The humidity blows but we actually have seasons most years. The fishing is good here too.

West of the Mississippi? Bagels outside of the NYC/Jersey area suck. I can't get a decent one in NH. I import mine from NJ on a regular basis :eeks1:

That is Cocoa Beach. I was born and raised there. Good luck. The recession hasn't been kind to that area.

Depends what "country" you're talking about. Obviously the states, but there are a LOT of great places in various countries.

I'd go where the work is; $$$ will always take you where you want to go...

I was born and raised in Northwest WA, lived 5 years in so cal (spent 3 trying to get out), and now in CO for 3 years. I tell you what, Washington and CO are, so far, the only places I'm interrested in. I would move back to WA in a heartbeat, but I would just as willingly stay here if I were able to go to school for my desired profession here.
I"m fixin to move to eastern PA soon for school, but hopefully I'll end up back out west.
The wheelin in CO is second only to the very nearby Moab, and the skiing/snowboarding, hiking, camping etc. is fantastic.
WA has really good wheelin too, but (in my opinion) teh scenery is better. Yeah, the liberal idiots control the gov't but that's mostly only around the seattle, tacoma, olympia metro area.
