Just wondering what is the best paint(Rattle Can) for painting bumper/tire carrier and rock rails? Just want something that I can touch up if needed and is semi easily available.

I like Rustoleum semi gloss. I am not sure it is the best but it seems to do alright and touch up is easy.

I'd just go with Rustoleum, any color you want.

x2 on the Rustoleum dark gray hammered. I am obsessed with that stuff. It hides a bad paint job really well and is very easy to touch up. Also seems more resilient to scratching. Here are my bumpers with that color and skid plate. I also used it for my rack and rock rails.

my whole truck is covered in rustoleum semi-gloss (satin) black. It's only got like two coats, but I think it looks pretty awesome and it's been very durable for about 5 months now.
I'll post some pics.
What I started with:
Nice night shot that shows the satin sheen when light hits it. (removed clear coat, pinstripes, repainted body and trim.):
You can see the dry header panel vs. the wet fender. Both in Rustoleum. The flares are in a krylon fusion hammered Silver. the bumper is spray-on professional rustoleum semi-gloss. (came out glossier than I wanted. I'll probably refinish it, but I'm lazy..haha

Mercruiser "phantom black" it will hold up for a lifetime under water, it will do the same out of it.

The front and rear bumpers were built by Skullver. He's a member here on
. His first name is Chris. Real cool guy. Shoot him a PM and maybe he will be able to help you out. He could probably make a career out of just fab work for Jeep guys, but he is like CRAZY smart and rebuilds superconductors or something weird. When he explained his job to me it was like he was speaking Greek. WAY beyond my spectrum of comprehension. I'm sure he will chime in here and clarify what he does.

x11 on Rustoleum products. ACE hardware's paint is pretty darn good too, and they have a special can that doesn't kill your finger after an hour of painting. The spray comes out more like a gun, too. Really cool. I haven't used it on anything automotive yet, but it works like a demon on bikes.

For some reason, I have a hard time with Krylon's nozzles. They tend to clog and I have to swap with another can, then another, and so on. I have even taken cans back to Home Depot out of frustration because they leak. WTF am I doing wrong?
I sprayed my new super rails with some cheaper paint (made by Rustoleum) from Ace and it looks very good and is priced a buck or two cheaper.

I just finished all my fender flares and bumper with Krylon fusion satin black. Cant decide if I wish I'd gone with flat, but it dried very smooth and consistent and I know from experience its durable.

I bought a couple of quarts of Rustoleum flat black at Wal-Mart and had a buddy spray my bumpers with a paint gun.

A really good "general use" paint just to have handy for plastic/fabric/metal is Dupli-colors Vinyl and Fabric paint. It has an awesome nozzel (like that of a gun) and the paint sticks to anything! I love the stuff, and am always sure to have it handy for whatever comes up. Not a fan of their gray though....
I have used the stuff on a vinyl arm rest in a previous rig, and it would last about 6 months before it would start to "rub off". I don't mind keeping up with things like that... I am more than impressed by the paint. Just thought I'd share that with y'all!

I second the durability of dupli-colors Vinyl and Fabric paint, had it on the dash and armrests/handles on the doors as a test and has held up fine for over 6months. Now I plan on painting all tan items black in the truck and replacing the seats entirely. Still up in the air about whether or not I will try on the carpet or just replace it due to the texture, etc. Just waiting for humidity and temp to lower in a month or so.
