The best one I ever had was called Charlie Russell Red, but I have never been able to find out who brewed it. Damn good beer.

Good stuff there but this

has a toasted nut nose and a warm nutty finish. The soft, rounded, slightly sweet body, touch of hoppiness and strong nutty overtones provide for a complex ale that is enjoyable after a fall weather outing or as an after dinner treat.

is going a bit over the line in describing a beer. I know that we are essentially talking about barley wine, but come on: toasted nut nose? soft, round, slightly sweet body? after dinner treat?! Next thing ya' know they'll be sipping instead of guzzling and spitting into a bucket instead of pissing in it. I like beer, but that's getting a little too fru-fru for me.

Sounds like a good ale though. I think I'll pass on the fruity, citrussy Beltain, though. The Pigs Ass and the Electric City look good. The stout sounds a bit too soft for me.

I also enjoy Guinness. Goes good with brats or a nice rare steak, IMO.

I drink mostly Coors Light when camping or having a good ole time doing other things.

holy crap pabst blue ribbon is all my neighbor drinks, I brought over a fat tire and he didnt know what to do with it. Hes a true redneck, raises horses drives a old ford pickup and takes his two hound dogs every where. He drinks a case a day when his wife is home and about a 12er if shes not.......If you met her youd know why

ya know, when i was a weeeeee bit younger I loved me some Natty Ice.
As I grew, my budget told me to try Miller High Life and I became a huge budget fan.
IIRC it was a buck for a 32 oz. you can't beat that...

I never really drank beer until my Ex and I had started going out, She turned me on to some decent beers and I really don't enjoy cheap beer anymore.

trust me 5 minutes with her and youd wana drink too, shes the extreme end of the beotchy spectrum and ugly as all get out too, he married her when they were 17 had 5 kids and its cheaper to drink the day away than to divorce the harpy......I wont even go there if shes home and my wife and her ride horses together and my wife can only stand her for about a half hour a week

Alexander Keiths IPA, Rickards IPA, Labatts 50 (grew up on that one), Guinness, XXXX, VB, Singha, Grolsch.
Rather tame taste buds for me, never been big on fruity flavours or strong bitters.
Always enjoy grab'n a mix from the LCBO (alcohol store round these parts) for a trial of exotics/imports.

Red Stripe. Can't go wrong. The bottles make poor hand-helds though. You gotta throw them instead. Tastes great.
