Since we have a TEA thread going, I figure why not kick it up with a NEW good ol Beer Thread.

What's your fav? Post it up!

I'm a HUGE Widmer fan, I just tried Carmel Coast Wheat from Trader Joes (not bad), but I gotta say... I Love the Widmer. I know it's not a very true Heff but it's damn good. Especially with a shot full of O.J.

I like most of the New Belgium stuff this one is pretty good

G turned me on to some Stone Imperial Stout, which was really yummy, but I can't find it -or any other Stone ales- locally.

Highland Brewing Co. Oatmeal Stout is pretty yummy, as is Samuel Smith Taddy Porter & Oatmeal Stout. Sierra Nevada Porter is pretty good too (when I can find it.)

My new favorite is Blue Moon. It's a Belgian white beer pretty smooth for an unfiltered wheat beer. Also like Purple haze.

If we are going on import beers, I am a fan of Paulaner (spelling is probably wrong). But hey, I am a good ol' red blooded American farmer and I am still down with a cold Miller High Life...it is the "cahmpagne" of beers, it says so right on the bottle! And dont forget the PBR...it is an award winning beer, it too says so right on the can!! I also like about everything that Boulevard Brewing Co. (KC, MO baby!!) puts out, especially the wheat beer. Shizzzz, who am I kidding, I like all beers!!

I got to be pretty much of a snob for a while, but these days I'm good for almost anything but pilsner lager. I even had an Anheuser Bush Amber Bock the other day. I was thinking this isn't too bad for Anheuser. Then I looked at the freshness date: 2005! Considering it was Anheuser, it may have been that the aging-in-bottle did it some good.

I tried some Sameul Adams lager when it first came out and didn't care much for it. Now I see that they have 15 million different varieties. Any of those any good?

I generally keep the fridge stocked with Shiner Bock or New Castle.

Some andouille boiled in New Castle and then grilled will make your day.

I was reminded of this site.

Arrrrgh....I can't decide!!!

I love it. And I heard it tastes like cherry 7up when you are drunk....

I don't like fruit in my liquor. I certainly wouldn't want it in my beer.

Paulaners Doubleboch, skullsplitter, Piraat, Kwak, Chimay Blue Label, Samuel Smith Taddy Porter, Samuel Smith Imperial Sout, Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout.....
all but 5 or so bottles here:

are beer. Since the picture was taken I have run out of room and those are all empties of beers I enjoyed :) (you should see the collection of bottles that I threw out)

I saw a brew on your wall that I had forgotten about, the good ol' Weirstiener (wrong spelling again I am sure). I enjoyed a few of those in my travels....

I tend to like my beer like I like my women, cheap and leaving me sore in the morning!!
