I want to add some 2" blocks to my rig. Let what me know what you drink and it is on me. I figure a few air tools and a jack should get the job done.

let me know when you would like to do it, and Im game,not just for the beer (thats just a perk) but trin to be more involved,my XJ just threw a rod through the block,11,200 miles on rebuild fkn sucks,I got a vehicle lift,air etc,blocks only takes bout 1 hr,could be more if bs'n and beer LOL

I did blocks not to long ago and they were pretty easy if you have been using that good old PB stuff....

Word. I may be doing shackles instead of blocks. I've been getting some negative feedback that they are hard on springs. :flamemad:

how far do you think your saggin? I have some springs we could bastard pack to level things out,check 4 wheel parts sometimes they have some hangers on sale or clearance fairly inexpensive,or we could fab some up,I have some extra steel layin around,be at no charge let me know or give me a call 719- 439-6005

I would say 1 to 2 inches. That is totally a guess. I'm thinking it will be one evening next week before I'm able to do something. JRagen and Tim80930 would one of you be able to do next Wednesday night say 6ish?

Wednesday might work. Need to get through brothers wedding and family things this weekend before I can firm that up. I am with Timmy80930 build your springs up is the best option. Block and shackle are just hiding the week spring you are still loading down with all the camping gear.

Matt,I would like to see whats up with your jeep,dumpin money into a bandaid fix is throughin money in the toilet.addin shackles for a level ride is common practice but with already weakened springs if there is no strengthening going on your load capability isnt changed and you MIGHT ruin the springs further costing more in the long run,if the springs arent that bad we might be able to bastard pack them accomplishing lift and load capability,make sense?shackles will provide the leveling your lookin for but I dont think you will be happy in the long run

Sounds good to me. Let's do springs and I want to throw shackles on as well for te added heigth.

Who's pad do we want to do this at? Josh I know live up north. Time where do you live? Tim you have all the extra leafs so wanna do it at your place? I am a West sider. Anywhere is 20 min. for me.

What type of beer are we throwing down? I love Fat Tire. Josh/Tim? I could grab some growlers from Bristol if you guys want to do that. Give me a shout sometime this week if you want. I think you both have my number.
