Bedliner or spray on bedliner

I'm wanting a bed liner, either sprayed on or just a rubber type mat, that does not get hot in the sun. My dog likes to go with me but in the summer the rubber mat or with not mat at all the bed just gets too hot for his feet. He's 13 years old and loves his rides in our rural community. Any ideas or help will be very much appreciated
