BB with shackle

If I install a 2" BB with shackles, will the angle be changed after installing the shackles, thus misaligning the pinion angle, thus creating DW? Should I just go with a AAL or a block instead?

It shouldn't cause DW at all. The shackle will only effect the pinion angle in the rear which won't change anything up front.

I have Rusty's shackle on my 96'. Works great.

Using a shackle for lifting the rear WILL affect your rear driveshaft u-joint angles, but screwing up the rear doesn't translate into death wobble in the front.

The AAL is a better lift. It reinforces the spring. A lift shackle allows the spring to flex more, which encourages it to sag more/faster.

thanks for the replies. looks like i will be getting long aal's with the 2" spacers.
