Yeah...tell me about it. That kid weighs like 175 pounds. It's all dead weight. To make matters worse...the little sh!t grabs hold of the back of the bowl. It's gotta be easier in the kitchen. Hell I can already bake a cake.
No I mean the chef's.
I don't like children so apparently I'm SOL for your occupation.

Cool.

River,

I never went to chef's school, I actually have a degree in chemistry, and graduate work in chemical engineering. Restaurant, food service work was just something that I could always depend on for a job. I'm ADHD so busy environments with lots going on work well for me. It's hard work, and generally doesn't pay well. Like teaching, it's one of those professions that truly require having a calling to be really successful at it. I'm very good at the mechanics of it, but I don't really like food, and I think what passes for creativity in the field these days is bullshit.

Philip,
When I was a cook, I was 6'3" and 165 pounds. Now that I'm an old scientist, I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds. Quitting smoking didn't help either.

I've been pulling peoples' chains on this board since it began. It's long since ceased to be a source of information for me, it's only entertainment.
