Badlands TFT Dec 6th

Have fun, be safe and take pics.

:wave1:

If anyone has an open seat, let me know. I'm at Purdue so it's only about a 1/2 hr. drive for me. A couple of weekends ago out at Badlands, my Samurai blew the headgasket on the way home. I haven't wheeled in any mildly built XJs, and I'm looking at building mine next year.

If the head gasket wasn't blown, I'd be down there with my XJ like this:

Out of commission :tears:

PM me if you have an open seat because I'd like to take a toy down there for the kids and meet up with a couple of you guys to get some ideas.

Thanks,
Justin Wilson

Spongebob I have to agree.Turn out was a little low this year. We must have had 100 people tell us that the roads just sucked, but, they suprisingly continued on there way for the Cause. We had to arrive about 7:30 AM so we (the workers) got there before the ugly really hit. Still had a great time thou and want to thank all who braved it.

It was a great day of wheelin. I was impressed with the turnout, considering the conditions...how many fewer people were there than last year? I think there were people there from every surrounding state...and even MO.

The roads were terrible getting up there...saw slideoffs, a jack-knife and a couple rollovers. We decided to spend the night and hope the roads were better today, and they were. And of course we had to take in some Attica night life.

Will get some pics and vids up soon...just got home.

Cardboard...thanks to you and 4WTF for a great event. BBQ was great also.

The roads are crappy every year. For the previous 2 years there was a blizzard. I remember one year driving all the way from Rockford to Bloomington in 2-4 inches of snow all the way (had not been plowed).

Sorry I didn't make it.
Usually our local Club gets 3-5 Jeeps down there a year, but this year it just didn't come together for folks.

It looked like those who did go had a good time and helped out the Kiddies at the same time. Definitely a Win-Win.

This was my first experience in the snow/ice & it was AWESOME!!! We (Jeeps Gone Wild) had 9 Jeeps out (about 20 people). The roads were tough gettin there, but as stated, it was worth it. I'm already looking forward to next year (with some warm weather in between).

Just a couple of pics:
