bacon....

OK, so yesterday morning I was feeling a bit creative in the ways of the Bacon Master, so I did a little tweaking of the original receipe and made a new varient of it and WOW, was it good....and painful later. I went with the original set up of the woven Bacon and then layered it with the sausage, but this is where I got a bit crazy. I went ahead and impregnated the sausage with jalapenos and then layered it with cheese and then poured hot sauce across it. While I personally believe that this would have been even better with chrizo, it was still mighty tasty even with regular pork sausage. If someone has a smoker at WF, I will definatly make up a few of the Bacon Explosions and the Aye Crumba Explosions and bring along with me. :pig: :explosion: :chef:

OK, here is the pictoral of yesterdays creation...

I decided to make the full size one this time instead of the half order. Half was the Aye Crumba Explosion, the other half was the traditional Explosion. Seen here with the jalapenos :passgas:

This was an even more special even for the fact that it was the de-virgining of the shop with a Bacon Explosion. Once we slathered, yes, I said slathered the porkness with some cheese.....mmmmmm.....we were not worth a shit for the rest of the day.

no pun intended :D

dang that looks good Tyler!

Jealous!! And my mouth is watering...

If we can get a smoker or flameless grill at WF I will make a few of these up. They are one glutenous artery choking bit of magical deliciousness. :D

So I decided that I needed to try this. The sausage did not want to roll up as well as it should have. Next time I will use better sausage. But it is in the oven right now!!! Changed the recipe just a little ;)

Niiiiice! Did you add any sauce to the inside before you rolled it up? That much cheese is going to melt out and cause one hell of a delicious mess! :D I used regular cheese this past weekend and it ozzzed out some, they say smoked cheese wont melt, particular smoked cheddar. I run mine in the oven at 285 degrees for 2.5 hours or until it has an internal temp of 160 degrees or higher. Nice work young grasshopper, you are learning the ways of the Master! :chef:
