Axle Track Bar Nut Welded to brakcet?

Is the track bar nut on the front axle welded to the bracket? If you snap the bolt what is the best way to get the nut off? If you can't get the nut off what are your options?

That's a good question. I'll have to look at my ZJ and XJ's to see how they attach. I think my '88 XJ just had a loose nut. I seem to remember some using a flagnut.

I know that my XJ Dana 30s have not had welded nuts. I don't know if that holds true for ZJs though.

The 96 xj Dana 30 and the 86 xj 30 both had a flag nut, but the diameter was different.
