Anyone know the differences between these engines? It sure is an awful lot of difference in listed power between them.

Cam and rocker arms are very different. Compression is different. Probably some different head mojo as well.

The base stroker has a mild CompCams 68-232-4 camshaft, stock head, and 9.3:1 CR
The Baja stroker has Harland Sharp roller rockers, more aggressive CompCams 68-235-4 camshaft, ported head, and 9.5:1 CR

And yes - I've been meaning to call him and see what he can do for me but life has been in the way with the holidays and all. Been dreaming of going to a stroker for a long while now, I think I'm about ready to pull the trigger.

You're ally should contact Russ Potenger for your needs. He is amazing. If you live to far for him to do the whole.engine maybe consider having him do the cylinder head.
