Just a guess - but if it was a 2001 - it might have been "YellowXJNJ". He lives close by - in Ewing.

Ah, Assunpink... that was where my XJ got its first flogging; that was when I learned the hard way that mud is bad, and XJ's don't swim. I've fished there quite a few times as well, but I prefer the smaller lakes (Stone Tavern and Rising Sun) to the big Assunpink Lake itself.

How far is that from the Baltimore area? Is the wheelin legal? I'm looking for some other places to go wheelin close to home.

From Baltimore, probably 3 hours or so, and not worth the drive... it is a Wildlife Management Area and has only one or two very short trails through the woods that present no wheeling, per se, other than a deep, stagnant mud hole. Otherwise it has a few dirt roads and 2 gravel boat launch sites. You'd be better off exploring the Pine Barrens around Atsion or Batsto, about an hour closer and more area to cover. Still not all that challenging, but more interesting scenery and longer trails to explore.
