are the oem track bars hollow or are they solid? i need to buy or build an adjustable one and if it is hollow it will be really easy to fab one myself. i dont really want to do a mount drop, any fresh ideas would be appriciated.

Stock track bars on any Jeep, any year, are solid bar.

The one I cut up was solid. I cut about 6" off the bottom end, and saw no signs of hollowness at all.
When I did mine, I got a tube adapter and heim joint. I cut the end of the track bar off and beveled the end of it. I then took a 6" piece of DOM tubing and slid it onto the track bar. I butt welded the tube adapter to the track bar, slid the tube over the weld and welded both ends of the tube to the track bar. It has worked flawlessly for me.
