Change my invitation to a probaly not this go around. And it's not because the XJ isn't ready. I'm confident that you guys wouldn't harass me if I pulled up in my TJ. The main reason is I had my daughter in the hospital for two days this week, and we are just getting back into the swing of things. She is much better now.

Had a minor technical difficulty with the motor swap. Had donor motor in and running, rough, but running. Motor timing would be on, and go off, back and forth, wierd! After much scratching of head, figured it out. The donor motor was a HO, I thought SWEET, until I saw that the computer was in two pieces from the wreck, so I had to use my old computer. Confession: Flywheels are not the same between a renix and a HO. You guessed it, used the incorrect flywheel, so had to pull the motor back out and put the flywheel from the blown motor on the donor motor. Got the motor reinstalled, but with this week's events, haven't had time to put everything back to together, i.e. radiator, tranny cooler, front grill, etc. Even though this process is driving me nuts waiting to off-road, I'm learning more than I ever thought I would about my XJ.
