Anyone want a free XJ

hell, i'm right up the street and I'm not even gonna waste my time...... you think salting the roads F's things up, try sinking something up to the ECU (and farther) in salt water and see how good the electrical system is......

American top gear doing a special?

This has got to be a joke. 8 months and all the glass is still in one piece? I want to see pics! And not the ones from CL. I hope one of you guys actually do go out and pluck it out of the water. Even if it's been there 8 months there should be something usable. Hopefully...maybe...

I'd imagine those pictures were taken the day it was lost to the sea.

That thing is probably laying on it's side, sunk in 4 feet of sand. It'd take low tide and a crane to get that thing out now.

That is, if it's still where they left it. I doubt it.

I emailed the guy and asked if he had coordinates but he never got back to me.

"Cherokee Island"

That's awesome!

The plastics are probably nice and clean now

'Wonder what the story is on that thing. 300 feet out, "stuck in a mud hole". Pretty obviously went out at low tide,.. but why? Drunk? Stole it and trashed it?

Be interesting to know what the guy was(or wasn't)thinking,..

Wasn't 94xjva's green 2wd XJ that color...? :roflmao:

Hell, if I lived closer I would get it no problem lol. Pending a check dive first to make sure it wasn't in mud... Except it looks like an older model so would probably just do it cheap to help the guy out lol. Hope the EPA doesn't see that too, fines are something like $10kish+ per day for a boat that is sunk and not recovered, I imagine it isn't too far off for a car lol.
