Ruffstuff are 40$ shipped for me, but I am going through 2 to 3 sets a year, I have done a bunch of research and it seems that when guys burn through RS heims they start going with FK JMX and don't have any more problems. I just got my set of RS heims in the mail and ill be slapping them on, but I want to have some FK heims ready to go for the next time.

anyone here know a good spot, either online or locally?

7/8x7/8 -14 LH and RH thread.

I got my 1.25" ones from summit. Free shipping anything over $99.99.

I am thinking about going to 1.25 heims for my track bar after these fail.

 wow Jon that's some serious beef for a track bar!!!

so to make it fast and dirty i grabbed some 1.75 and 7/8 heims as a temporary fix. the plan for the next set of dead heims is to machine down the 2 5/8" wide misalignments for the 1.25 heims and grab some 2" .250 DOM and go big. I was talking with ruffstuff and they think that might last years so the savings over buying 3 sets a year would pay for itself very very fast. and it'll be crazy strong.

go big or go home!!! I was going through track bar heims once a year also. Ended up putting Currie johnnie joints on both ends of the bar for a temporary fix, two years now and no failures, not even a clunk. Needless to say I am pretty impressed with them.

that might geo worth looking into.

Have you thought about changing to a 7/8x3/4 setup? You wouldn't have to change the bar and the larger center ball of the heim would be an improvement. I have 7/8x3/4 with standard misalignment spacers and 3/4 bolts on my TB. Rock bouncing on 1tons for a few years and still tight as new, they're QA1's I believe from Ballistic Fab.

To my knowledge, Ruffstuff doesn't sell other hiems, and has theirs made to their specs.

1.25 for the trackbar? are you really killing 7/8's?

we run a 7/8 single sheer on the team naxja car with 3 seasons on it, and its still tight..

(I'm not doubting you, i'm just very surprised)

I literally just had phil over and we both verified that the thing was totally fubar and I threw a fresh set of heims on last night and all is well again, no more popping or creaking, took away all of the wondering. Third time this year. I have no freaking clue why it would do this so often. everything looks legit.

my gut tells me the shorter track bar binds when it droops a lot, but at ride height everything looks fine. I did have DW at one point, but that has been gone. I should be buttoning up the PSC hydro assist tonight (just the RAM ) so that might help a ton.
