Anyone know a good mechanic in/near San Jose?

Hello, I have this idling problem for a year now. So far I have gotten a new battery, fuel filter, throttle body gasket (all was recommended). It's been to four mechanics now, and none are competent enough to fix it. If anyone knows a good mechanic that can get the work done I greatly appreciate it, because I really do love my Jeep and hate to see it go. It's given me so much stress wondering if it will start up every morning, or even make it through each red light I am at. Symptoms are HIGH idle at start 3k rpm when not warm. When it is warm, 6 out of 10 starts are high idles at 3k (have to keep shutting it off, and starting again until I get a regular idle at 1k). Idling in DRIVE gear tends to go between 500rpm-1500rpm never steady, I usually drop in to neutral at red lights(but I don't want to have to do that). Please please please if anyone can help I will worship you

Try PM'ing 5-90 he's the resident Renix expert, plus he's in the San Jose area. I don't know enough about the Renix motors to know what the issue is.

It sounds like it might be the Throttle Position Sensor, but that's a guess on my part.

Sounds like IAC (Idle air control valve) is fubar'd.. was this item cleaned and/or replaced? Maybe vacuum issue, damn renix!

I am located in North San Jose near Cupertino. I really don't know too much about what was mentioned the problem could be. I can cruise by whenever. Is there an estimate on how much it would cost to fix including parts? I just need to know how much $ I need to round up before I head out.
