anyone into RC rock crawling?

the HPI was FASTTTTTTT 35-40mph with the os motor....

it did RETARDED donuts too with the AWD....

my brother had one. i forgot the make but it was 1/10 scale and it came with the 1/8 scale size engine....would do 60-65 on pavement... went thru rear tires like it was going outta style.

Got a TXT converted into a competition rock crawler............havent used it in a long time.....................maybe looking to sell?

Nothing cooler than a RCcrawler that uses driveshafts

thats the reason i'm buying the Losi! I'm not gonna dump a ton of money into it. I will, however, be ordering metal lockers for the diffs when i order the truck!:D

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, good luck with that:roflmao:

Metal lockers are a good idea, I did strip one of mine within a couple weeks. I had to wait a couple months to get the metal ones, but better to be safe than stripped again.

Here's my LMC/LMRC as it sits today

Oh i will change wheels and tires but i have a full scale rig to dump money into first. I know its like a snow ball but i've made it a whole year almost on my Stampede only buying 25 dollars worth in parts. Since i toasted my transmission gears in a huge jump!

Gotta Pede too, I've had it nearly 10 years now, it's nothing like it was when I bought it either:cool:

It's VXL powered now, far better than the MSC/Stinger it had originally:guitar:

This is kind of a scarey view of it, I get a little nervous if I come close to getting in front of it at speed, on a 7 cell pack like in the above video:shiver:

ive wanted an RC crawler for a while now. ever since i saw an XJ crawler video on ou tube one day.

anyone know where i can get an XJ RC?

www.scaloffroad.com but you might just wanna buy more lift and bigger tires for your Jeep!

The VXL is a pretty strong running motor/ESC combo, I'd like to swap one in my Bandit (making it the same as the one in the vid) only build it up into a speed run machine instead of a track racer.

I don't currently own any of them but would love to get into it when funds allow. Assuming these are all electric, how well do the gas operated machines compare? I always thought they were cool.

I wanna get a crawler, but I spend all my money on a Savage X 4.6, lol

I want to find someone to trade me all out, crawler for savage.

I just want an electric so I can play with it in my house, haha

I used to be really into rc anything, but I've never had a crawler. Some day.

I've owned
-Micro rs4's
-AE tc3
-2 Hpi Rs4 3 nitro's (got them by trading the t maxx)
-T Maxx
-Aquacraft Hammer v-boat

I'd like to buy a $300 rock crawler, but that 8.25 aussie is REALLY nice!

hahahaha

Anyone have any experience with the Wheely king Crawler conversion?
I had one not long ago with the crawler conversion. I did real good and cept up with a ax-10 on the rocks. The only issue with them is link clearance, very easy fix. I just got out of RC cars a couple years ago, I had raced for a 4 years and was a semi pro racing 1/8th scale gas buggies. Those are more of a money pit the XJs are i swear.
