Anyone inthe Gillette Wyoming area?

Flying into Gillette monday 8-25-08 for a job interview.Any people in the area? I have lived in the area before (pre for me) . Just wondering if there is anybody to wheel with in the area?

Nope well yes and no. No I don't live up there, but yes part of the company I work for is up there and I'll be up there 9-8th to the 12 or the week after that for some trainging. Who or what kind of interview do you have going on up there? Not much up there if your not into the mining drilling oil or gas field work. Housing sucks up there pretty expencive for what little you get.

Had an interview with a coal mine.Housing is going to be the deal breaker I am afraid.cheapest house in Gillette was a 1br 1bath for 106,000!I brought some books & phone #s back to do more checking . Gillette has grown immensely since we were there last(1998).

It’s a resource town 100% mining drilling gas and that’s all the people that live there do, so the market for homes is up there with the cost of living. I was looking about relocating up there for work, but after looking at 2 bed 1 car garage less square footage than the half of my house now for 210k NO THANKYOU. They pay good, but the cost of living your not going to get a head much up there. I will from time to time spend a week up there for work here and there, but the company I work for pays for the hotel I stay in. I got on line and looked at houses and condos and stuff for a week and nothing in my price range really.
