I've been doing some research lately on expedition type trailers. I've looked for 1/4 ton mil. surplus and such to no avail. Last night I came across an online story about expedition trailers and this link was included www.milspecoffroad.com. They're located in Lake Elsinore according to their web site- but my email was kcked back to me and their phone number goes unanswered.

Does anyone know about these guys... are they even still in business?

It also got me to thinking... how hard would it be to build one of these. I know it would cost a lot more than finding a 1/4 ton mil surplus and configuring it. I also posess nothing in the way of welding skills (which would pose a significant barrier)- but a guy can drean- can't he?

Thanks.
Andy

Not 100% sure but I think they are gone, he was running this out of his backyard, Last I herd he was liquidating about 9 months ago, then again they where hard to get ahold of.......

No flagging from Microsoft Phishing filters. No ALerts from McAfee.

that was the first time i had ever seen that firefox feature, i had to do a quick search to make sure it wasnt the site itself... (no idea why a page would do that to itself)

just thought id post up, sinse there was debate over the credibility of said company.
