Anyone going to the 'Blessing of the Jeeps'?

Nope I just typically play on the course whenever I am heading to the gas station. The course only gets used one week out of the year for the blessing. It's nothing special.

yea seems like you could get in trouble for tresspassing lol. And to mean chadville didnt look super easy. and the stair step seemed troublesome for some folks.

sounds like alot of people at that park. i'm an introvert, I don't like people.

They did the"Dog Party" last weekend. According to their FB page there was 3500 in attendance! THAT is a lot of people.

i went i think 3 years ago?

its pretty fun!!!!! lots of people when i went they didnt have all their trails yet so it was pretty crowded in the scramble area etc. And there was 2.5 feet of snow. i got stuck alot. The past couple years there hasnt been much snow

yea, my route on Sunday runs from Hart, Luddington, Manistee, Benzie, Lake City, and Caddillac. I saw ALOT of rigs heading home. Heard alot of stories of stupid people up there already too.

what time does the Blessing happen? I still want to attend sometime.

go1lum, if you see a Big Mac truck passing through Sunday evening and stopping at the corner of M115 and 13 rd for pizza, that's me. I love that pizza.

Some unfortunate ones too... There was a 50-60 car pile up on south bound131 by Stanwood Sunday afternoon. When I flipped through the pics I saw a couple rigs flipped off trailers. I assume tehy were coming back from that or Sno-Blind which also happened this past weekend. Either way it sucks.

Is there a place to park my Suburban and trailer if I tow my rig up there?
Although two hours on the highway is doable with my Jeep, it makes for a long day up and back. Plus I can't play as hard if I can get on one of the harder obsticles.

there is... they use the soccer field next to it for parking, and coordinate parking for you to get in there. there are quite a few rigs that got trailored there. they bless the jeeps, and then set you free to run the course. which... is a course. youll be spending a lot of time in line.
