anyone from oregon who knows trails above promitory park

more specificly, up on forest road # 4610.

Does anyone know the extent of the closures up there?

i was up there memorial day, saw a couple XJ and quads, but alot of trails were ripped up and had "NO OHV USE" signs on them.

hell, there were even some big steel gates that blocked off logging areas.

wich brings up another thing :

if many parts of it are closed to OHV because of it being a "damaged watershed", why the hell are they loging it?

As far as I know, that entire area around that RV park road is pretty much closed off. I don't think it gets enforced and there are still always a bunch of people out there.

I've driven the roads up there a couple times just pokin around and saw all sorts of Jeeps and quads on the trails, I didn't see any signs out there, just word of mouth that it was closed up.
