Anyone ever "tailgate" at the Angels stadium?

Well have season pass tix for fathers day and its pict day for all of those with season tix and pass. so was thinking of taking my lil guy (18mo). but I know he wont survive the whole game. SO looked in to taking the trailer (29ft).

the customer service lady at the stadium #, is a joke. long story short. Was hoping someone here has taken a RV / Trailer to a Angels game and has some input/answers?

I was told max length in a spot 36ft, and that I can disco. and park my tow rig "near" the trailer? any idea what near is, she was too dumb to elaborate.

Is it even worth it?

How wide of a spot do they give to RV parking?

any other input....

I went for Supercross and they charged $115 at the gate and kicked us out at 12:00am. I about S$!& when they told me the price and there was no turning back since I was already in line and at the gate. On a positive note we probably saved $500 in alcohol by not having to buy it inside.

Well its 8$ for the main car (thats covered with our parking pass) and then 16$ for the trailer...

Everytime Ive gone to an Angels game hardly anyone ever tailgates there. Not sure if its frowned upon or enforced. Its pretty lame since all the Cubs and White Sox games Ive ever been to, everyone tailgates, gets hammered and haves a blast

Ok update.

Don’t ever bring your Coach to the Angels stadium!

What a bunch of prick cops! its me the wife and 18mo little boy in all angels gear. first the pigs on horses stop and tell us we have to take down the caution tape we have up around the parking space int eh front open area and side so that my boy knows not to go past. its about 10ft total of tape and nowhere near intrusive on the isles or others or anything its in our spaces (the trailer was in 4 like all the others, then my Ex and friends jeep in the next ones over. tape was from tongue on trailer to bumper on her jeep and my ex to the jeep rear bumper.

they come alone and say oh that has got to come down. You cant save space here. WTF! there is like 4-6ft between my trailer and the next spot over!? whatever I tell him and ask him to please explain any rules or laws that we can be aware of since this was our first time there. he said basically everything that was online and on our parking permit. he trots off..

Then about the 4th inning the boy can’t handle the crowd and fireworks and is getting grumpy if you will. We walk back to the trailer and fire up the generator and micro him some dinner. we get this loud knock on the front of the trailer and go out to find the same pricks on horses there. What’s the worst is that they are the high end assholes/prices. one has like 4 strips and the other one 5. the one with 4 is the only one talking ever though of course.

my wife opens the door walks out and i hear, SO what are you doing in there. she’s fully clothed with a bowl of mac and cheese in her hand and a baby spoon. WTF do you think she’s doing? dumb azz pigs!

she explains that the boy got grumpy and we brought him back to relax and eat. I go out...

He then ask me so what are you doing in there. well lets see I don’t have mac and cheese spread all over my body, WTF do you think Im doing? again, Dumb azz pigs! No wonder why your on horses, you prolly cant even operate a car.

I explain to them that we came back with my boy hoping for about a 30 min break to get him taken care of.

He explains that we cant be out there. WTF! I paid my $$ for parking, we have diamond club field level seats, and a 30ft trailer! why not!? he explains "HE" can’t have people in their parking lot during the game. WTF (AGAIN!) why bring a trailer then?

All in all. I will never support that team again. I gave up on them when they had their identity crisis and vowed to never support them after that. they might as well move to the dodgers stadium with them like the clipper and lakers share a space. but since I have a lil guy now I figured I would go with the flow and expose him to baseball now, since lil guys need that in their life at some point I feel.

Well I will never go back to a angels game till he ask me to. so I am sure it will be years! I will support Arizona or SD, before that POS place and city again. Now I have a reason to root Dodgers if nothing else. And I thought they were the ghetto team. Anaslime has proved that they want to be just like them in ambiance also (not just city) so...

SO long angels... another family lost to your pathetic morals...

Oh forgot to mention. It was really cool to see Koby upstage the whole game when he walked down the isles about mid 1st inning with his dad. the game was paused and he got a standing ovation if you were colse enough to see who it was. then about the 4th inning there was a standing ovation. Niether team got that the whole game. funny haw the fans at a dodger and angels game are all from the same 50mile radius, yet when a basketball player comes to the same game, he gets more attention and applause then either babeball team there...

well I guess that explains why I've never seen anyone tailgate. Sorry to hear of the PITA events. it reinforces my love for other stadiums and teams

Well there was about 2 or 3 dozen other motorhomes/trailer all in the parkign lot we were in alone. then about 4 or 5 dozen ez-ups with groups all there also...

the prick pigs were going to each one that were there after the game started and telling em all to either leave or go in the game.

How many fights were there in the stands??

My daughter went with a friend's family on Friday and she said there was like 3-4 fights broke out. One was about 4 rows back from her and she was splattered with beer.

She said some other guy a couple of rows back, was totally drunk/obnoxious and had to be removed....

She said she's never going back.

well no fights in the parking lot we were in nor in teh area we were in either or that I could see. we were 4 rows back from the angels bater up circle on the field lever. so at 215$ a tix I think you get a different crowd Generally. My buddy that was with us even had on dodgers gear and I, angels gear. was some very playful chatter, but that was about all. Koby was almost identical seats but on 1st base side. he was in the sun we had shade :-)

as for tailgating a thing of the past. It is lookin like baseball games are out thats for sure.

The pig even mentioned... "you know how much these parkign spots are for super cross?!" I told him no, and why does that matter. he explained that you only get 2 spots and its 165$, adn that my 16$ for 4 spots we should be happy we get what we get.

WTF comparing supercross to baseball. explains that they are pricks cause they want to be. they cant tell the difference between a baseball game and its history and a cycle event and its lack there of. dont get me wrong supercross might be cool and all. but baseball Was the great american pass time at one point in history. given I doubt it is anymore. partially (given maybe very small portion but all the same it is not helping at all) due to pigs like these...

That's sucks Robert...
