When I took our armored '01 Limited Upcountry, completely stock on 30" MT's, to the Cliffs, I ran with a stocker group. We had a few TJ's, a couple of KJ's, myself, an old Willy's, a Kia Sportage, Geo Tracker and a pair of stock Rubicons, all quided by a pair of large YJ's. I managed to dent all four doors and pull off a fender flare and bumper cap on an otherwise pristine XJ. They were cutting down trees to fit the Libby's through. One hill climb got sloppy pretty quick... the guide, myself, a TJ with open diff's on 33's, and the Willy's made it up becasue we were in the front, but almost everyone else had to winch. Later on we went through a mudhole with ruts that took me right into a tree. I won't go back, it is not worth the 5 hour drive for me.

How much more helpful can I be? Go form your own opinion of the place.

You signed on to a forum where you know none of us, you have no idea what our tastes in off-roading is or what our idea of fun is, yet you want us to tell you if the Cliffs is FUN. It doesn't make sense.

If you used the search in the first place, you would have found my review of the Cliffs and could have been reading instead of blaming me for this sport dying.

Here I'll even go one step further, since you're a newb and all... head over to www.gljt.org and check out their trail ride section. They have a newbie run, that's you, which is set for May at the Cliffs. That club knows the park well, and it would be a perfect trip for you to learn about the sport, your vehicle and the park.

After reading you whine, I probably wouldn't want to meet YOU either.

Then I guess we all missed what exactly it was that you are looking for.
If you searched, which I don't think you did, you would have found 2 trip reports with MANY first hand accounts and opinions of the Cliffs from lots of people, AND they include pictures! I don't think there could be any more elaboration than these two threads.

No one was mean to you in this thread. I think I was pretty polite and even helpful by providing you links to exactly what you asked for, even after you got defensive with me.

Welcome to the internet... if your grammar and punctuation is poor, like yours is, people will mis-read and mis-interprut what/how you are saying something.
You might think punctuation is silly... but this is a perfect example of why it's important when your major means of communicating with a group is through text only.

funvtec: I will close it for a few reasons, first is that it is gonna get real ugly, real fast if left open, I will spare you that. Second is that you simply need to learn abit more about life and grow up, people here tried to help you, several times, and all you could do was hand out insults.

Phunk: Yep...it will be closed but remain readable for yet another guide on how NOT to act on these forums and expect results.
