anyone else having DNS issues to naxja.org?

Last week or so I am unable to resolve naxja from my home ISP (SprintBroadband) for extended periods of time. Don't have problems getting to anything else I try. If I route through my business DNS server I can reach the board OK.

Guess it is time to complain to Sprint.

It intermittently winks out from my work place as well. Been doing so for a few weeks although IIRC it was fine all this past week.

This is a new thing - it was rock solid for the longest time.

It was unaccessable for a couple of hours this week for me as well. The problem most likely isn't with the naxja server. There have been a few problems with major routing nodes on the internet this last week.

You now anything about these routing issues Tom? We had a couple of multi-cast shite storms this week at my site.

I agree, symptoms don't point at the server.

I too have had periodic problems, and everything else appears to be okay. A quick check with SamSpade showed the DNS server to not respond. Packets went out okay, but never returned.

Its not the WEB server, but the DNS server that was laid down.

Dont call Sprint, its not your BB's fault and theres nothing you can do about it. Its the DNS server having a momentary seizuer for the lack of better terms.

If it makes anyone feel better, the DNS server at my server's host does that from time to time too. Likely running the Windows DNS server, which Ive never been fond of, the third party DNS damons have always been 100% reliable, cant say that for the Windows DNS servers.

Anyway, thats what I know and can contribute.

I thought it was in my home LAN as I lost the whole thing the other day and after I patched it back together, couldn't get . Still haven't gotten the LAN back togther corectly, but I've got this, so I don't care.

Thanks for the replies. I forgot this thread got moved here. Still having multi-hour outages every day with Sprint Broadband. Good thing I have alternate routes.
