I am getting a used RE 5.5 lift minus rear springs but everything else comes with it for 500 bucks. I was just wondering if anyone running this lift could tell me how they like it?
I run it all except for drop brackets. I have those supper flex joints what ever they call. There is mad flex upfront. back flexes ok. Wish it would flex more but what can you expect for leaf packs right.
Unless you're dead set on SS lines, I'd go with chevy 3/4 ton lines. I can look up the PN I used if you need. They were something like $17 a side and are way more than enough on my 4.5"
But yeah, you'll need lines. Probably rear too (used a dakota rear on mine).
The lift came with lines. Picked it up tonight lift looks new. Paint is still shiny. Guy said they were getting ready to haul it to the junkyard with the lift on it. I was like what???
The 5.5 (short arm) drives geat and i get alot of flex in the front, I had to do alot of cutting and banging in the wheel wells to clear 33's at full flex but i would like more flex in the back. i also took off the rear sway bar.
