anybody in S Florida or going near there?

I found a real deal on craigslist for a bumper and some other stuff, but the catch is they are in south Florida and i am in NC.

is anyone going down there anytime soon who would be willing to pick em up for me and get them farther north?

PM Rambo. He might be able to and willing to help you out. He lives in Miami. He has been to the Crawl several times all the way from down there. His brother has his xj and he has a tj now iirc, but he still shows up here every now and then. He was at Harlan in 07 and Morris Mountain in 08.

I'll do that!

Anybody else want any parts from this dude, if we can work out a run?

If that does not work out Travis, yellowxj, lives in Ocalla. But that is quite a few hours from Miami.

See if the seller will take it to a freight dock. SOutheastern, Old Dominion, etc.

I have to ship 400+ lb spools of wire all over the southeastern US and by the time you 'pay' for someone elses gas money to get this to you...you might be able to have it shipped.

Good idea about the freight dock. But I really want at least somebody to eyeball the existence of said part before I send a bunch of cash to a total stranger. I'm getting suspicious now because the dude doesn't want to take PayPal (which does have SOME recourse for theft/fraud), insists on a money order, which as you all know is basically untraceable. Sometimes a deal too good to be true is exactly that.

You ship wire? Ever have a need for a truck broker?

ACtually if he accepts a Post Office Money Order and you dont get the prodect I believe that is mail fraud. Report to USPO and sit back while he goes to jail.

Glenn I forget who you are with?

Family owned truck brokerage company. Most of the company deals in Fruit and Produce but my office does flat bed and van freight. It's called Fulmer Brothers, Inc.

That's right...I remember now.

Call 919-556-3056 and follow the prompt to the company directory.

Type in ROBBINS and get to Lori Robbins.

Tell her who you are and that you know me and see if she will let you give her some freight quotes.

We're always looking for good deals/service on freight.
