any tips to get out a rear drive shaft

changing my rear drive shaft u joints; does and one have any tips as to getting it out of the transfer case??

It doesnt just slide out?

wasn't sure. first time doing this.. but im getting it out now

Oh ok. I thought you were having trouble with it. If it is stock shaft, just unbolt it in the rear and slide right out of the t-case. Have something to catch a little fluid that may come out.

first off make sure the ebrake is on and wheels are chocked, then ubolt and slide out

did it! put it 4wd, chocked it and the e brake on.. little bit of a shit show.. because well.. im a girl.. but they are in and I test drove it and it drives nicer then when I bought it.. on to the next project!
