I am looking to pay someone to do some basic work on my XJ and teach me some basic maintance stuff

I'm at the SW edge of Akron, but it's still a bit away from you. Doubt that I could be of much help at that distance.

I've got a buddy that's a 5-star certified jeep mechanic in the Slavic Village area. If you need work done, he'd be able to help you out. He's got a 1991 XJ that he wheels, so he knows his way around pretty well.

I can get you his number if you want. I'm an ok wrench myself, but not someone you'd wanna pay to fix your rig.
