Any leads on good rental housing around Castle Rock?

We're not ready to buy a house yet, but I just got a job offer in Castle Rock so it looks like relocation is in my future.

I'm looking for a 2-car garage with at least 2-3 bedrooms, hopefully under $1000/month. I'll be working for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office so will be near the north end of town at the Meadows exit on I-25.

Anyone have any leads or rental resources they'd recommend?

LOL! Hey Jim, am I now gonna be hearing you bitch that meetings in the 'Springs "aren't far enough SOUTH"???? :laugh3:

Joking aside, congratulations on the job! Doug Co. is a really good organization from what I hear, pay is good and they're always growing. What position are you taking? Patrol? Detentions? Non Sworn? Maybe you don't know just yet because I've heard that they hire, then randomly distribute newbies between Patrol and Detentions - then some Detentions new hires become either Deputies or Specialists.... is it still like that?

Yup, Dispatch. Now I won't care whether the North meeting is on 84th or 88th, but the South meeting damn well better be below Hampden. ;) I could even go for an East meeting near Tower Road...

That's awesome Jim! Dispatching for L.E. and Fire can be a tough job and one that doesn't receive many thank you's but I'm sure you'll find it interesting and personally rewarding. But giving up the Safeway job? That's gotta suck huh? :laugh3:

JohnJohn - that's an OUTSTANDING idea! I'll have to see what the fiancee's input is on the area as well, but there's never any harm in checking out watering holes. She finally got her massage business growing up in this area and has a good balance of in-home and studio work...and now it looks like we'll have to relocate the studio once she gets back.
