lots of people mount them to their shock mounts or simply weld an adjustable mount onto the frame near the mounting point on the axle.

id say fabb up some mounts that will bolt up with the rear/upper seatbelt mounts. you might even be able to buy the little metal plates that are sown into the belts.

that would be plenty strong. ;)

well honestly i think im goin to leave that up to the consumers just so i can keep cost down.

as far as pricing... i dont have a retail price just yet.

What do those of us do who don't have rear shoulder belts?

So here is how I did it.

I also think a tab bolted on to where the seat bels were would work great too. I'm also thinking about getting a second on to mount more towards the rear to divide things up, probably only up to window level though.

Thanks for the props Rory, the install looks great and nice use of the footman loops. I can't wait to get home and install the shifter.

Everyone else pm me for any custom webbing products such as nets, limiting straps, or even a leash and collar for fido.

I really like the idea for this...I'm just not entirely convinced on the upper mounting.

I might hit you up for a rear net to cover over the top of things rather then separate the front from back. I'm currently using two large 1000lb harbor freight straps in an "X" to keep my goods from hitting me in a roll, but a netting over the top sounds better...

I picked that upper spot because it's a structural spot in the body, the screws go into metal. I am going to machine out some tabs that will allow me to attach to the seat belt bolts.(It's so cool to have your own CNC). I have a couple other ideas but I'll have to do a little more designing to see if it will work before I say something and make a fool of myself.
