Any interest, GM 8.875 and Dana 60

Im just throwing this out there to see if theres any interest, I will have a a GM 8.875 rear and Dana 60 front available soon both out of a late 70's 3/4 ton chevy. manual locking hub on the 60 4.10 gearing in both. Will also have some other stuff out of this truck available but I doubt thered be much interest, but I've also got a 208 tranfer case and a muncie sm465, 6.55:1 1st gear ratio in the muncie

yes passenger drop, and yes it IS in fact a D60, 8.875 is 12 bolt

I figured it was a pass drop 60... Wouldn't be a bad deal for the 60 and sm 465 is it a figure 8 trans?

figure 8? if you mean bolt pattern its a round 6 bolt I believe, the truck is still sitting in my drive way, disassembling it and removing the parts I want to keep is on my do do list for the next few weeks. btw any ideas what to do with the frame and body?

also possibly available are a set of 4 brand new 35x14.5 tsl thornbirds on 15x12 inch chevy rims, these will only be available if the differentials sell.

could of sworn he said he swapped a 60, hmm guy I bought the truck off of must of lied(not some random dude but work friend of a friend) I'll double check for a 60 stamp tomorrow.

its 6 lug. Not that it isn't possible to build a 6 lug 60, the average swap would be leave it 8 lug, put a 14 bolt in the rear, and not spend the $1000-1500 to downgrade the 60.

Yeah its a really fun truck but the problem is getting it street legal, they were being a holes about the smog crap and Im not about to go through all the trouble of trying to get it to pass. I have cats and thats it, they wouldn't even test it. Im sure it would actually pass but they wouldn't pass the visual inspection. it has a 330 10.25:1 compression and big ole cam. I will be keeping the 350 and one day will build a rat rod for it to go in.

It could be yours for the right price.

considering the rust problem the truck isnt worth putting any more work into it to me,(you can see the road through the driver side floors) plus a rat rod does sound really fun. plus if I keep it I'll find someway to throw way too much $$ into it/
