Any Cleveland Members Help a Newbie?

I can't figure out why my 96 Cherokee is misfiring, accompanied by a knocking sound at lower RPMs-- I have college classes starting on Tuesday and really need help.

This is a long shot-- Are there any members on the East Side of Cleveland who could try to diagnosis the problem for me?? I'll gladly pay for your time

I'd start by checking for spark. Pull a plug boot off one at a time with the truck idling, if it doesn't run any worse then you've found the problem cylinder. Try not to shock yourself. When's the last time it had a tuneup?
