Another CL genius.......

I I just e-mailed him this:

"Yeah, I bought your car from ya back in '90! I put myself through art school, then spent many hours in labor with an eraser and pencil restoring that "wreck". Now it looks like this:

Just when you thought you had seen it all..........STUPID..........

You know what...I actually think I know the car this guy is looking for. I saw it 2 weeks ago.

You a rotten kid Troy! LOL

Here's mine: http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/817136865.html

The way I read this, the guy wants to put original series engine back in? Most of the not for free parts won't interchange. LOL

If I didn't already have a stack of 'em, I'd email him about the free stuff.

You are evil, but that person deserves it for being a total idiot!

I like the one from Hypoid as well, is it me or is Craigslist a magnet for idiots to get to post for sale stuff? ........

LOL - yep, he's a 'tard too. What's wrong with just leaving the running 390 in there?

LOL @ the "graphite" paint job and the stick figure!

I got a reply to my e-mail. The guy was cool, the ad was a joke. He thought it'd get flagged the first few hours it went up........ His kid drew it and he decided to have a little fun with it.

He wasn't such a tard after all. He has a 428 Cobra Jet waiting to go in. Most of the keeper parts will interchange.

The guy who got the free long block? I think he might need an intervention...maybe...or not.

But, clean out the garage made the honey-do list.

That is funny! I have to wonder how far and wide that picture went?

LOL - so what the heck are you gonna do with that long block Mike? Just sell it? I imagine that wasn't all that hard to pull so I imagine you can flip if for a few bucks.

Although I still don't get his ad....... Now it says "Update: $600 radiator to flexplate, carb to pan"....... Huh???? I read that the 390 is free and the carb/intake are $300....... where's the $600 coming from? Since he's keeping the accessories and attached parts.... :dunno:

I have a '74 F-100 I'd like to put back on the road sometime this century.

I think the guy had a bunch of lazy mo-fos respond to the ad. Being the cheap bastich that I am, I told him I just wanted the free stuff and have my own stockpile of FE parts.

I was loaded for P-N-S when I finally got his phone number. I asked him if I should load my hoist and come over, he said yeah. I got to his house at 11:00, was headed home at 2:00. Like the old Mustangs, Fairlanes are kinda tight around the shock towers.

Edit: This is FE number six for me. Where do you cash in your Iron? I have a couple bare blocks taking up space.
