Announcement: NWFest 2013

Myself, Aaron, and the former BOD have had a couple very long meetings so far over the last couple months, to discuss plans for this years big event.
This year is extra special, as it will be the 10 year anniversary.
We have spent many hours putting together the game plan for the event, and look forward to bringing you an epic, and very memorable weekend.
Detailed plans of everything will be announced as things are finalized and set into motion.
For now.... what you need to know is the when and where, to make sure you can get the time off from work, and have ample time to make whatever arrangements are necessary.
This is the year you do not want to miss out on!!!

Where: Naches Wa.
When: Friday, June 21- Sunday, June 23

There will more than likely be a few of us going up a day or two early, to set things up, and scout trails.
Sunday morning, the 23rd will be the official departure day, and when most, of not all of the group will leave.
As we get closer, an official Staging Area Thread will be created and the call will go out for trail run leaders, and volunteers for various aspects of the event.
Its a little too soon for this now, as a lot can change in people schedules, lives, willingness, and abilities between now and then.
Further details, directions, maps, and other information will be posted up as we get closer as well.

Time to start planning if you havent already...
See links above for all the necessary info.
Due to recent events, we are looking for volunteers to tackle the food situation.
Saturday Night The NWC will provide the dinner for all who is in attendance.
We're going to need to handle all the logistics of what its going to take to make this happen.

Including but not limited to:

• Meal selection
• Cooking preparations
• Grocery shopping
• Serving/Clean-up provisions

I'm sure there will be more as we get closer.
You wont be alone in this, there will be other volunteers that will lend a hand AT the event... NWC Funds will cover food expenses, paper plates, plastic utensils, etc.
We'll more than likely need a large grill/BBQ at the event....so if someone has one we can use, and the means to get it there, that would be a huge help as well.

This of course is not an exact indication of the number of people that are going to be there,but will at least get us in the ball park.

Got bit by the NWF bug today. Really looking forward to getting back up to Naches for our 10th annual NWF!

In years past we've just started a "Dinner RSVP" thread a week or two out to get a more official head count.

Perhaps starting a new, "NWF Dinner Planning" thread would be a good idea to hash out details. I'd be happy to pick up supplies, or haul some stuff up. Were we thinking Fiesta Style again, or go with the more traditional burgers and brats?

Cheers all!!! Been off-line for a bit but its that time of year again. I havent missed NW Fest in four years now and I certainly wont this year. Big Mike and my neighbor Marc Lee will be there with both of our jeeps preped and ready for fun!!!arty:arty:

Request the time off if needed, dust off the camping gear, clean out your coolers, and start buying gas! (its prob not going to get any cheaper between now and then)

Haha yea for sure, i plan on filling mine up next weekend and just leaving it parked till the saturday of nwfest.
