Any one know if Alloy is still in business? They've been "Closed for inventory" since 23 Oct. They were supposed to re-open on 29 Oct, but they're still not answering their phone or emails as of today, 7 Nov. One Alloy vendor claimed that he had heard a rumor that they might be going out of business. Hopefully this isn't the case, especially since nobode else, as far as I know, make the 35-spline dana 44 axles. Anybody have any info about Alloy?

There's something over on pirate4x4, I guess something has come up since the Alloy USA-Precision Gear merger?

I'd be very suprised if Superior/Dutchman/Moser/Dean at Performance Cryogenics couldn't make 35spl D44 shafts in you length and lug pattern of choice.

Your right about that, but I need to have all the spec's so they can make it. As of right now I think 1 vendor has the 35-spline kit available.

I hope they come back or the Ron guy is able to have a go at it with the company he moved to.

Although I'm not worried about the quality or strength of the Alloy USA shafts that are currently in my junk.

Call David on Monday at http://www.northridge4x4.com/ he is in LV right now, but he has 35 spline Aloy USA Dana 44 shafts in stock.

Thanks again Dave, I ordered the shafts and an ARB mini-compresor from them today. Couldn't beat the deal either, free shipping and a great price :woohoo: Now I just need the gears and install stuff and I'll be ready to play!!!
