I dont know if running 38's with them is a do-able option either.You would kill the clearance under the pumpkin with that size tire.Rockwells are better suited for 44's or bigger.
Rockwell's with the hi-clearance belly pan have better under-tube clearance than a D44 so I dont know why you think 44s are necessary? My 14B rear has WAYYYY more draggable diff than a Rockwell would.
The biggest down side so far is the brakes. I'm still working on that.
