I think we should adopt them. Why you ask... Why not ? They are the farthest outpost of the PNW . Most of the time our meetings are in Seattle, and this would discount most all of our members in Idaho, SW Wa, maybe the Eastern half of WA, and all of OR.

So they can't make it to our runs. I've got 2 small children 2.5 yrs, and 7 months, and most of you will probably not see me for a significant amount of time. ( I know your happy about it Glenn )

Therefore I think we should adopt them and give them a place to call home here at .

Wether formally or informally, let's bring them into our fold.

I gotta vote for Alaska. I think it would be a blast to head up north. Maybe not all the way to Alaska, but how about halfway between, in Canada? Take a few days off and have a long weekend run. I just have to get some leave time saved up.

You have a hoop load of XJ's up there, (I just PCS'd from Elmendorf). The Arctic Offroad boys have a couple, the Alaska Extreme Have a Sh!t load. If your not already you should check out the alaska4x4network.com board.

If only such courtesies could be extended to your closest neighbors to the North! The membership roster doesn't even reflect the existence of my province...I'm pretty sure I'm a chapter of one here on the Island. :laugh3: If I'm going to do any official runs, they won't be much further away than the PNW/Cascadia region.
