Hey guys,I have a 1995 Cherokee 4.0.I am leaving this saturday for a long drive acroos country to Kansas.Well today,my A.C. started acting up.
In the past the compressor would cycle about 3-4 times a minute.
Now the clutch engages, the air gets good and cold, but the clutch does not cycle off at all. This is followed by a loud humming noise in the lines. It sounds like excessive pressure.
I hooked a gage to the line and its in the correct zone.
I am stumped, and any help would be appreciated.
Maybe a cycling switch,or relay...if so where are these located?
Thanks in advance!
