after 124.000 miles

Hello,
Would like to have your advice on following.
I would like to make a 125.000 service as after 60.000 miles I have not do much beside regular oil changes and a complete radiator change. As money is always a restriction (at least for me) , if I would have to prior, what should the firts 4 items to check/replace in order to avoid undesirable failures?
Tks

diff fluids (both so that's 2)

transfer case fluid

trans fluid

This is bare minimum and only if you are at an absolutely tight cash restriction, in my eyes.

There is much more I would do to a 124,000 mile vehicle.

If all those have been changed, I would move on to the cooling system and flush, or at lest replace a couple of times, the power steering fluid as well.

What year and model?

Do you mean failures due to a lack of fluid changes, or out in the middle of no where part failures due to part age like spark plug wires?

Thanks Ecomike...Thats the point. Part failures is the thing and Spark plug wires is a very good example. For example I usually take to the trails a pair of...of....those metal parts that look like a cross that go on the driveshaft and "usually" get broken...but, inside the engine is a Black box to me.
Thanks

We call them "U joints" (universal joints) in this hemisphere... Those are a good thing to change.

I would just change all the fluids and filters at that mileage - use the proper gear lube if the XJ has a manual transmission not just any gear oil. Also all of the ignition parts like plugs and wires and distributor parts. Did they ever sell the diesel engine in Chile? You could get the injectors cleaned up. I would also change the rubber belts and hoses.

Then I wouldn't replace parts unless they are broken but I would inspect everything regularly if you are going out onto trails. Just look all around the Jeep (inspect the brakes, check for a leaking water pump, shock absorbers or any cooling system leaks, fuel leaks or engine leaks). Look at the chassis and steering parts for any obvious damage and lubricate the steering and suspension parts.
