Just wanted to say "Hi." I recently purchased a 90 XJ Pioneer from a neighbor and am doing some trouble shooting to get it running without spraying Antifreeze all over the place.

I'm new to XJ's, but not to Jeeps and have had a 03 TJ since it was new.

I have been offroading a few times with some of the guys from TrailKrawlers and with The Rat Patrol. I know there is a little overlap with the membership and they always spoke highly of NAXJA. I usually go to Tuttle Creek and hope to find some people that I can have a good time with and learn the trails at another ORV or 100.

Are there many members in Wichita? I noticed the membership stuff and am probably going to join after I get the XJ back on the road. Are there meetings in Wichita or anywhere close. I like DOING something more than just a once or twice a year thing.

So far the few days I have been on the Forum researching have been very helpful, so a big thanks to all the people that share info.

Welcome, you came to the right place for XJ owners. I am from Omaha NE but I am in California right now. I will be back in the midwest late December and plan on making quite a few trips to Tuttle Creek. There is a big NAXJA event in Missouri Feb 07 called winterfest and you should attend.(make sure and have tow points..etc) I will probably head down to Tuttle creek with a group called just jeeps of Omaha, but I am sure there are a few clubs in your area. happy trails buddy hope to see you on them soon.

Sure did. Got it working today, instead of frying a turkey. I had to settle for Oven Roasted. It's amazing what tightening a Rad cap can do for things boiling over.

I would love to come to the Winterfest. I'll "try" to plan now, but becoming a part of management in July has only seemed to complicate things.

No mobid humor intended...I plan something and an important person to one of my employees dies.

Hopefully my spotter can come with his Hi-Res Camera. He is always looking for pics to add to his portfolio. Anyone know if the registration includes a photo release? If he gets good ones he might try hitting some of the places that need stock pics.
