Here's a few pics of my rig. I just realized that they didn't really turn out that well. The colors seem a little off. Anyhow, onto the pics.

Got these tires on some other rims for $300. Before:

And (mostly) after. I hadn't finished washing/rinsing them:

From the front. The wax really makes her look good:

I only got these two tires cleaned up some and my piece of rubber trim that came off, haha:

That's all I got for now. The water sure does bead up and roll off the newly waxed rig. Plus, the windows don't screech when I roll them down anymore since I washed and waxed them too!

Never fails, a Sport missing some of the red stripe.:kissyou:

Looks good. Mine was that green at one time.

hehe, I figured that while I had the opportunity, I'd keep it green and shiny as long as possible.

What is the best thing to use to stick that trim back on?

Wax is a great idea to help protect your paint!

My sport hasn't lost it's red yet. But I can tell it wants to!

Yeah, I like it when the water beads up on the paint. I also like it when people walk by and look at themselves in the reflection in the paint!

Thanks! This time, I washed it by hand and hand waxed it too. The next order of business is getting under the rig with a stiff brush and scraping off all the mud chunks and built up road grime.

i dont wash mine anymore. everytime i do i find new dents or scratches. it gets the heavy stuff sprayed off and the underside pressure washed, and that about it.

my 3 yr old calls it the "icky truck" and i dont mind

Yeah, I need to go over the undercarriage and get that cruddy mud off.

I heard a light coating of baby oil will help keep mud off rims/etc

It's actually just a mall crawler. I don't like to get it dirty....

I use Automotive Goop, works great.

Just give up now and paint it matte.

I thought about taking it all off, but the woman did not approve.

Considering she has final approval of budget, I thought it best not to disobey.
