Sadly I just can't justify keeping the heep. I'm running out of room for my family to go camping and I just don't do enough wheeling to justify keeping it. My loss is your gain. I know I'm high money wise on CL so for the Naxja crowd I can get it to $5500.
Here is my ad
Selling my 99 jeep cherokee I-6 4.0-AW4 w/168,xxx miles. It has been an ongoing project that I hate to see go but with a growing family I have no choice. Pulls I70 hills great and is averaging between 16-20 mpg. This needs nothing to get in and go wheel 99% of the Colorado and Moab trails.
The good:
- all engine sensors have been replaced and adjusted with OEM equipment and specs
- new upgraded injectors
- new spectre cowl air intake
- newer 3core radiator with aux tranny cooler and new hoses.
- dual battery set up with AGM deep cycle batteries
- 0 gauge battery cables
- starter, alternator, belts, pump, etc. replaced.
- rebuilt SYE transfer case
- new F&R driveshafts from front range driveline.
- new MOPAR fuel pump
Axles:
Front D30 with
currie/savvy off-road 4340 chromoly -500 miles
Synergy HD ball joints -500 miles
New axle shafts with 760 x u joints-new-
New pinion yoke -500 miles
New Timken bearings
4.88 gears professionally installed
New seals and bearings replaced
Eaton electric full case locker -new pin style-
Black magic brake pads
Solid diff cover
Front suspension
5165 bilstein 12" Tavel shocks tuned for the xj weight specific
Poly progressive bump stops
Currie progressive coils -4"

The bad:
Cracked windshield
Paint is starting to give
It has been wheeled and has some Rocky Mountain pin striping
Back driver door is not currently opening because of a door handle problem.
