'98 5.7 Vortec, SM465 questions

Say I found a 5.7 vortec that originally had the 4l60E behind it out of a 98 chev and I can get the complete wiring harness and gas tank, fuel pump, ect for an excellent price... I want to run an sm465 behind it instead. What all would I have to bypass so the TCM didnt tweak out from having a missing auto tranny? Nautral safety switch? I figure that would be an easy splice job. What about the vehicle speed sensor...? Anything else?

Nobody has any helpful notes? Im guessing beings its 98 it also has an anti theft system built into the computer. Maybe have to get an older computer 97 or prior?

Gotta give it a bit more than an hour to get an answer, you're asking a pretty specific question on a project that a pretty small percentage of members have done.

Best deal out there... Or convince your wife you need a tuner to do it, then you'll have a cool toy to play with. $600 will get you the tuner and 8 credits, enough to do your PCM AND 3 of your friends. Nobody should pay the $600 to have this done.

Yea. this is actually mine and my brothers project. Building a CJ not a cherokee but I figured someone around here had some info. Sent the guy and email. Great price. We went and picked up the engine, complete wiring harness, complete fuel system, and even the steering column. 400 dollars. Thanks for all the help guys.
