93 XJ AW-4 Vibrates in reverse

Ant ideas as to what would cause a 1993 XJ 4.0 AW-4 to vibrate when it is put in reverse?? Does not vibrate in any of the forward gears?? It vibrates even when it is sitting still in reverse with the brakes on.

Check the engine and trans mounts. The fact that it happens in reverse is more likely because of excess movement in the mounts causing clearance problems than something directly related to the trans.
