I've got a 1989 jeep cherokee laredo, with 180500 miles on it. It has a 2" Old Man Emu lift, 31" BFG AT/ko's, less than a year old, an alpine cd deck that is XM ready, it is blue, but the clearcoat is shot, and it has a few minor dents, nothing serious... never been in any major accident. I've never crashed it myself. The front end sports 2 Custom4x4 Fabrication tow hooks with the d ring kit. I think I still have the hooks.

The motor is fantastic. It is a brand new 4 liter Jasper crate engine, installed by a jeep dealership, with the full warantee, which I believe is transferable. Most sensors are either new or new in the last 2 years. the plugs and wires, distributor cap, rotor, belts hoses... all new. the injectors have been professionally cleaned recently. the whole pcv system is basically new. tstat is new, and I have an extra tstat and tstat housing, new in the box.

The motor is mated with a Borla stainless header back to the cat, and from cat back is stock. The header provides great power, but has a habit of rattling a little in the cold, against the transmission bell or the crossmember. It doesn't affect performance, and can be heat bent to avoid the sound, I just haven't had the time. The header is about a year ana half old. The cat and muffler are about 2 years old. Everything passed NYC metro inspection 2 months ago.

The cooling system has been upgraded, also by the dealership, to the 92+ style system. nearly all the hoses, clamps and hardware are new on the cooling system, and the engine bay is pretty clean.

The fuel pump is 1 month old. The filter was replaced at the same time, I think.

All of the major steering components were replaced or repaired before the lift went in, almost two years ago. There is no bump steer or jitters. the jeep handles great up to 75 mph. I've never bothered to go faster. At high speeds, a tight turn through a pot hole will make the front tire rub the fender flare. otherwise, there is very little if any rubbing.

The front axle bearings (timken), disc rotors and pads were all new less than a year ago.

The only parts of this truck I have not gone over are the transmission (auto) and transfer case (242). The tranny seems fine, I have no problems with it. The transfer case shifts fine and offers no major pains, but does seem to have a really slow leak that I would keep an eye on. Neither have ever received any service, so I do not know their internal condition.

I also have a few extra parts, including a used rear bumper, a crossmember from a 91, a tstat and tstat housing, coolant bottle, some hoses, a speedo gear for 31's(yellow) and I'm sure a few more...

The truck is solid. I have treated this thing like my baby for the 3 years I've owned it. I do not want to sell it, considering how much I have poured into it recently. I need to recoup the cash.
